Have you reached the pyramid of success in your life? I believe we can and in fact even when we have there is always another bigger pyramid to build…just ask the ancient Egyptians. So presuming that we can, the question becomes how. The answer may surprise you.

We need to concentrate on who we are and create and express a depth of character. Our character is in fact the foundation on which our lives are lived and our happiness depends. Our character is our prime meridian or guide post from which to center ourselves.  Knowing who we are and what we stand for is in fact the thing of legends; always has been and always will be. We need to make a legend for ourselves.

L – listen to your true inner desires. If you have them (and you do) then let them out for the world to see.

E – engage your heart and mind together. We are human, a combination of thinking and feeling. One is useless without the other. The richness of our lives comes from the commingling of  these two important aspects.

G – be generous with your support to others. How we treat others is the best way to discover how we treat ourselves.

E – energize the world around you. If we create energy we will receive it.

N – negotiate until consensus is achieved. Consensus is worth working to build. It ensures everyone is heard and valued.

D – declare yourself openly and honestly so that all may know you. If we do not openly and honestly display ourselves then we present an empty shell or worse a sketch of what we think others may be looking for and desire. If we know ourselves then others want to get to know us as well.

Who you are is wonderful. What you contribute to the world is important. Let it be known and you shall reap the benefits for building a life you truly love to live.
