The typewriter is the instrument through which fantastic story telling can emerge. The typewriter fulfills its role because it does what it needs to do. The typewriter knows how to pick up ink from a ribbon and transfer it onto paper. It does it repeatedly and it does it well.
The same is true for each of us as human beings. We are incredibly well designed to access wisdom, learn from it, use it and then share it with others. Each of us has an incredible repository of thoughts in our minds and the collective consciousness of humanity is also waiting for us to access it.
But in order to do so we must choose it. We are not machines. We are in fact organisms. The difference is that we actually generate and perpetuate whereas the machine simply carries out a series of pre-determined instructions or functions (no matter how complex that may be in the information age).
So the challenge is not the access. The challenge is in fact the choice. So how do I get clear on my choice? How about an acronym to answer that question.
C – clear the clutter from your mind
L – listen to what is true for you
E – engage all your senses for listening to yourself
A – allow your answer to appear
R – reveal the answer to yourself
Do not hide from wisdom, follow it. We have access to bountiful resources if choose to use them in our lives. It is my life so always I remember to choose the life I love to live.
