Each of us has a dream. The challenge is to not live with the dream but in fact live our dream. This is not as difficult as we might have thought. It all starts with our ability to know our dreams.
What is your dream? Take a moment right now and allow yourself to know your dream. Do not hesitate to express it. Do not judge whether it is good or reasonable or realistic. Just allow yourself to know the dream you have today. It does not have to been one you have had for a while or something that takes place in your future. It is just “your dream”. Right here. Right now. State your dream out loud.
Did you listen? Did you hear your dream? Or did you discount it or rationalize it or lessen it? Please, please, please, listen very carefully to your dreams. They are your hearts desire. They are your inspiration. These are monumentally important aspects of your life. They are your highest goals and fondest wishes. They need to be celebrated. If we ignore our dreams we can become the architect of our own misery. It all starts with disappointment unless we choose excitement.
The good news is that we are the master of our magnificent life. It is not too late. It is never too late. If we are alive today we can live our dreams. But we must take action. You are the maestro but you need an orchestra and the music in order to put on the concert. So let’s get started. It is simple. It is called “one step forward”.
All we need to do today in order to live our dreams is to take one step forward. If your dream requires money then start today to put some in a container labeled “my dream”. If your dream requires a slimmer body then start today to eat more vegetables. If your dream requires another career then search for the qualifications and print them off today. One step always starts any journey we undertake.
We are already living in our field of dreams, all we need to do is to start the journey towards our hearts desire. And when you do there will be a chorus of people behind you to cheer you on, for each of us deeply understands how truly important it is to follow our dreams.
