Our spiritual confidence is what manifests our choices. Each of us is drawn to confident people. We are attracted to success and self-belief. To demonstrate and encourage others is the true measure of our confidence.
Life is not a competition. The t-shirts are simply wrong. The fact that capitalism is built on competition and that has created a modicum of success does not mean that it is the best way, only that it is one way. Life is a collaboration. Look around. We live in a thin layer (the troposphere – about 18 kilometers high) of air which is required or we die. We do not even know if there is another exo-planet (outside our solar system) which could sustain human life. How is that for collaboration!
So our confidence is not just in ourselves. Our confidence is also in the world around us and the planet itself to sustain us. As a spiritual principle we need to be collaborative in our confidence and this makes us even more aligned with each other.
What does it mean to be collaboratively confident? In order for us to feel more confident we must also instill confidence in others. It is like feeding fire with oxygen. When we instill confidence in others it will automatically instill more confidence in us which will help us instill more confidence in others. It is a foundational principle to the universe. That which we express and experience fully we ourselves will receive in abundance. It is the fundamental law of attraction.
Remember how we had an affirmation that we saw and cherished others earlier in this series? This is a continuation of that thought. When we see ourselves in the greater whole of the universe or the human population or even our family we accept and realize we are not alone and this gives us power to achieve even more in our lives. So remember that confidence as a spiritual principle is never solitary. Once we are conjoined to the universe we can understand ourselves as a piece of the whole, a part of the main artery of life and so we no longer act separate and apart from one another.
