All of us are not just equal, we are in fact the same. Yes we have personality but underlying it is our human core. All humans follow their own philosophy, some subscribe to complex social philosophy also known as religions. Religions are really all the same. A belief, a practice, a desired outcome.

My philosophy is organized around a central core belief. I create through the Law of Attraction which some would call the Law of Creation. I create my life, my experiences and my choices in two ways, conscious or unconscious. The practice some call spiritual enlightenment is really an internal process. Everything I am seeking I shall find available to me from within. Even though it is more popular for us to seek shelter, comfort and fulfillment from without (material belongings or other peoples opinions, approval or even acquiescence). The truth is that the external approach, while popular, is more similar to drug or alcohol abuse. It may feel good at first but the high goes quickly and the only remedy is more of it and the withdrawal process can be strenuous and arduous.

Contrasting the external approach is the truth which lies within. The truth provides us comfort and confidence and that is why humans have often been willing to die for their beliefs. What we believe to be true is in fact true for us. There are only a scant few universal truths. Finding them, exploring them, accepting them and applying them consciously in our lives can be a life long endeavour or it can be an immediate revelation.

One of these universal truths is that we really only need to enlighten ourselves to our own consciousness. From this enlightenment we are better able to use the law of attraction to manifest our hearts desires. All answers are available from within. All the mystics, all the prophets have told us this yet still we search for answers outside ourselves. Our intuition will guide us when we listen to it. As a man sometimes I must search deeper or listen more to let my intuition speak to me but I assure you that we all have it and it will guide us to our hearts desire.

It is important to differentiate between our ego and our intuition. Most of our “inner voice” is in fact ego based. It pushes us, judges us, may deride us, can confuse us, desires power and control over us and sometimes over others as well. This is not your hearts desire, it is your egos fears.

Now I am not saying fear cannot be positive. Fear is one of our strongest emotions for a very good reason…it protects us by quickly assessing fight or flight so we can survive. Only if we first survive can we thrive. However, in todays modern Canadian society our base fears are almost groundless as we are so rich and  have all the protection that our modern society provides for our health, nutrition and living conditions. Our fears are often simply false thoughts of our own creation and we replay them over and over. In following our fears we will create more fears being attracted into our life.

We are all story tellers and the ego loves a good story of fear more than any other. What you give energy to exerts a stronger attraction force just like a larger body has more gravitational pull. So today try to change fear into fearlessness and try something daring for yourself. I shall leave it in your more than capable hands to decide what is daring for you and I shall choose my own meaning as well. The important thing is to be consciously choosing something daring for myself to try today. This is the entire exercise.

It is your life. It is your choice. Love it and live it.
