As I peer up into the wild blue yonder I call the sky, I realize that I perceive the universe during the day through a veil of atmosphere, yet at night the atmosphere seems to disappear and I see the “heavens”. The universe did not change, my perspective on it did. The same is true for universal law.
Without getting into a dialogue on the heavens having a parent (either father or mother) I believe there is one very important element that I would call the universal truth or universal law. It is the law of attraction and it is ever present.
The law of attraction means that everything which exists in our lives we have attracted. Ouch! It does not help to judge that which appears. A drop of water is just a drop of water. It is context that is required to judge good from bad. A drop of water on your computer keyboard could spell disaster but on your tongue, in the middle of the desert could spell life-saver. The law is impersonal. It does not care whether we know it or not. The law does not operate differently for me than it does for anyone. The law is not changeable although I can change my use of it.
As an example of “law” think of the law of gravity. It does not care what is being pulled, who is doing the pulling or what are the consequences of it (thus planets are created and priceless crystal goblets break on marble floors). The law of gravity is the same throughout the universe, it creates black holes and it creates humans remaining grounded on planet earth (I leave it up to your imagination to define grounded…smile). And yet we change our use of gravity when we do things like send a probe into space. In order to get more speed we use planetary gravity to slingshot and create a new trajectory to reach our destination at the same time. When we understand law we can use it. Our use of law does not change it, it changes only our experience of it.
All of this is also true with the Law of Attraction. So the next time you are thinking “Why is this happening to me?” change your thoughts to “What can I choose now?”
