The goddess in form…

What makes a goddess? The dictionary definition is a female being of supernatural powers that is believed in and worshipped by people. By this definition I believe Reverend Angelica Jayne Taggart can assume the mantel of goddess and I thought to write to you why I find this remarkable woman worthy of such a title.

First I would like to comment on the “female being”. There are two states of humanity I believe. I describe them as “doing” and “being”. Doing is the one we are most familiar with as we carry on in our daily living. We “do” things;  we eat., we sleep, we walk, we talk, we touch, we smell, we move around the physical world. The other state is being: we think, we are happy, we are sad, we hope, we question, we wonder, we are aware there is more than the physical. Rev Angelica is woman who does “being” very well. She is consciously aware of what is beyond herself. She is at one with herself, others, nature and the great beyond.

Next I would like to mention her super-natural powers. Make no mistake about this woman’s power. She is very attuned to nature, in fact I would say super-attuned. Rev Angelica is particularly skilled at rituals involving nature. She has a particular affinity to the feline. It has always intrigued me that in ancient Egypt the cat was first domesticated to protect the household from rats, mice and snakes and then rose all the way through the rank and file of society into the status of deity. It is logical that the ultimate protector would be a deity. Ever since I first met Rev Angelica she loved everything to do with cats. I believe it is because she to is a protector. She is the protector of our spiritual truths and helps us by reminding us.

Finally I make mention of the adoration of others to Rev Angelica. To worship is to love without question or criticism. Rev Angelica loves this way and as a result she draws into her life the same. There are not many people I have met in this world who are truly accepting of others and non-judgmental but Angelica is one of them. I have known her for a decade and I have yet to hear her judge another. Does she have emotions? Of course she does. Do they leak out onto others? No they do not. She expresses herself fully without casting aspersions on others. Truly this is a gift, not just in her own life but in the lives of those who know her.

And so in summary I would like to say that truly Rev Angelica is a goddess in form. She is not the only one, but she is the one I know the best and I wish her well and am so glad to have her contributions to this website. Live the life you love.
