7 principles for spiritual success…

No matter the shape of your spiritual house there is always life and the opportunity to choose anew. These 7 principles help us to connect our body, mind and spirit. They are; conscious, conjoin, centered, choice, confident, committed and complaint-free.

Using seven articles I will talk about each one separately and give you examples and practical tips to help you implement them. To read all the principles simply click on Principles in the title bar where I have organized them all for your convenience.

For now let me just briefly outline why a set of principles helps us. Think of doing a big project around the house. If I ask you to build me a house you may turn around and tell me you do not know where to start. But if I go to you and ask you to draw up plans for a 3 bedroom west-coast style home I have given you two things. A mental image of the outcome (3 bdrm home) and a desired deliverable (the plans). The exact same approach can help us to deepen our spiritual connection to ourselves and world around us.

Over the past few weeks I have been giving us (or trying to anyway…smile) the mental image of the outcome. Basically, each of us is whole, complete and perfect as we are. Now I am going to delve deeper into the methods we can use to help us achieve our deliverable. Just like you would need to get tools ( a computer, software, paper, perhaps a ruler, pencil or other tools) to produce your drawing, we can use tools (in this case our principles) to create our spiritual plan for self-realization.

I hope you will both join and enjoy this journey with me. Remember, the only one who needs to listen to Brad is in fact Brad. I shall leave it in your capable hands to decide if anything I am discovering on my journey is also of use on your own. Namaste (the divine within me, recognizes and acknowledges the divine within you).
